Maassluis is open to pleasure boats and offers an extra place for yachts to moor as the last port out to the sea and first port from sea.
Maassluis has a jetty on the Geerkade West for vessels passing through. This floating jetty can accommodate 19 sailing and motor yachts up to about 15 metres in length with a width of up to 4½ metres. Thanks to this jetty, historic Maassluis is open to pleasure craft and offers an additional mooring place for yachts as the last port of call out to sea and the first port from the sea. Apart from pleasure craft, this jetty also offers the option of winter storage.

Passers-by who are visiting the port of Maassluis with its famous tugboats can moor at this jetty. Needless to say, guests are welcomed by the harbour master. Once moored, passers-by can visit the beautiful historic centre of Maassluis which is within walking distance.
This costs €10 mooring fee per day and €5 tourist tax per yacht. Mooring fees are paid per day. You pay for a period from 12 noon until 12 noon the next day.

An information board with a map of Maassluis and nautical information for sailors passing by has been placed at the jetty of the Passantenhaven on the Geerkade West near the Groote Kerk.
