The Gemeenlandshuis in Maassluis is a sight to behold. It looks a bit like a castle on the outside, but on the inside you can see that the finest artisans were hired for the stained-glass windows, carvings and paintings. Its crowning glory is the impressive wooden spiral staircase dating from the 17th century and one of the most beautiful in our country. Or marvel at the meeting room with its beautiful stained-glass windows and historic fireplace. The Gemeenlandshuis does not have any set opening days. Visits to the Gemeenlandshuis can be arranged for groups of 6 or more. If interested, please contact the Hendrick de Keyser Association. The Gemeenlandshuis is also open during events.
